These stats are taken with my router on an extension socket upstairs.
These are my Down and Up speeds according to www.speedtest.bbmax.co.uk

Lol sorry for being such a dumbass, so what your saying is if my voice calls have interfierence they would probably fit a new one for free? If so any ideas how i can do this without it been obvious?
Thanks for all your help guys i really am grateful, i just want some sort of reasonable solution to all of this.

An intermitttent fault can be very hard for an engineer to locate, if they find no fault on the line, they may well come out and replace their old socket to see if that helps.

So what your saying is just phone them saying my phone is crackling sometimes on calls and i believe it is the phone socket as ive tried different phones.
Would they not realise theres no fault?

Dont even say you think it is the socket. Mention that you have a very old connection and you can't check if that is the cause as you have an old master socket.
That is the bety of an intermittant fault there is no telling when it will happen

Ok hugsie thanks for help i will give them a call now. Basically ill say that i have some crackling on my phone at random times and i cant check if its the sockets as i have the old style box with no test socket.
Is it the 150 number by any chance?
