SKY is unbearable - please advise anyone

i seem to spend all my time on the phone to these people - i have been upgraded because i use a lot and ive had NOTHING but problems

      1. freezes/crashes my whole computer
      2. constantly looses connection
      3. slow

i have had a new router, i've done all the settings, been on the phone to them for hours - it's an f**ing joke.

Anyone else had similar or has any ideas of what to do as i will leave them if this carries on.

      thanks

      1. PC crashing is nothing to do with Sky
      2. Post stats/info on how you're setup

If you're going to be rude, then don't expect much help.

How exactly do you mean your computers all 'crash'?

I can think of no reason why a router loosing Sync would crash your computers. Have you checked for viruses etc?

Unless their is a virus on one pc knocking out all 3 there is no real way a router can cause 3 PCs to just crash. Post stats from the test socket or master socket and explain the physical setup of equipment on your telephone line.
Also what Operating systems are you running, are there any hints in the event viewer if running windows and what happens if only 1 pc is running at a time? Do you still get crashes?

they probably dont understand what the problem is because they are primarily trained on broadband issues, if there is nothing wrong with your broadband connection it is more than likely going to a be a pc problem. you need to more clearly explain to us what happens when all the pc's "crash". sky have given you a new router (which obviously wasnt needed) to rule this out as being a fault, unless there is a problem with your line(or your setup more likely) what else can they do for you? your paying for a broadband signal to be sent down your telephone line, this cannot cause all your pc's to crash
