If you can't download it yourself, get someone to do it and save it to a USB drive.

If this does not work, you would be better and safer doing a full format and reinstall.
I am not 100% sure the virus is gone, but Malware Bytes found nothing on quick and full scans, and I have run Combofix twice and the second time no infected files were found. I downloaded and run the program you suggested, rebooted my computer because my connection had been "fixed", but still nothing.

Right, and what would you suggest? Because I don;t have McAfee on here.

I don't know but in this case it's prob best to reformat the PC - or do a system restore to a date before you had the virus (assuming you can do this)

Re: Only Internet Explorer Will Connect to the Internet

Right, I can't restore to a previous date, as the last one, was yesterday, when I still had the problem...

So, if I format my PC, where will I get all my drivers from? As I don't know the make of my motherboard, and when I boot my computer, it has American Megatrends, which isn;t the make, as when I formatted my PC before I had to get a technician in to get the drivers as I had NO idea.

Right, I just found out my motherboard is ECS.

      ECS Web Site

That is the download page on their website, do I download EVERYTHING? Or just the drivers? Or just the drivers and the BIOS? Or what?

Hmmmm bad times. I can't format the drive because when I put the disc in and restart, I of course have to "press any key to boot from CD...", and none of my keys work! FML

This sometimes happens with a USB keyboard. What you can try is going into the BIOS look through it and find the entry for USB. Even a USB keyboard usually allows you to do this. When you find the entry enable USB keyboard and legacy USB and any other entry for USB you can find, this may allow it to work. If this is unsuccessful, you will have to get hold of a keyboard with a PS2 connection.

Driver wise, you'd need to find out the model number of your motherboard (which should be on the board itself - you'll need to open the case). You then click on the driver set for that model. e.g. 2010/03/11 A790GXM-A(V1.0) for model A790GXM-A
