      Connection Reduced

      Last night I noticed a huge drop in my connection speed and it affecting me alot. It was previously capped at 4down/700up, and I dont know why this has changed

      Need to see the full stats - click show statistics at the bottom of the page and paste the stats from there.

      Do as before and plug into your Test socket and post your stats.. Have you plugged anything new into your phone?

      Nothing has changed apart from the cap in my line, I cant connect to my test socket, that is not the problem. Shall I ring sky and ask them to uncap it?

      Sorry, but your noise margin says that something has changed, whether it is something you have done or not. Trying the Test socket is the only way to determine if it is internal or external.

      It seems it is. You have too much noise on the line at the moment and that's all the line will handle at this point. You are more than likely not even capped.

      Are you running any extension cables to the router or running the router in an extension socket?

      Plug into the test socket to rule out the internal wiring, as sky will not be able to do anything at this point.

      So my connection overnight just decides that it should now be capped at 700kbps? Nothing has changed internally and I cannot connect to the test socket at the moment, I need to act now I cannot have the internet like this for much longer, what do you suggest I do.

      It's not capped as is it was the SNR would be sky high!! If you're not going to do as advised then why ask for help?
