Is there a way to tell if i have been activated other than to plug in the router.On my account it says we plan to connect you on todays date.

Apart from calling sky and having them run a tone test, then not really, no. The activation can take up to midnight tonight, so just plug in the router and if the internet light goes green then you're good to go.

Surely if your connection from your old ISP drops that should give you the hint ,providing of course that you are migrating
