Ugh, and down the spiral we go.

Called again today, apparently there has been a problem with my order (where have we heard that before?), so my router hasn't actually been dispatched yet. After spending a few minutes back on hold while she 'went to speak to her colleague', she came back and said she'd need to send my details to provisioning so they can chase it up, as she had never seen this particular error before, and I'll be contacted in a few days. Great, I'll believe it when I see it.

I just hope if BT do do it tomorrow, they don't pull the shutters down on pipex for a while.

Real sorry to read that Adrian

      Man this is NUTS!

I hope you will still have a connection as well but knowing BT I guess you had better go and find a dial-up account just in case

      Aye, I have two ready.

It's stupid that the simplest bit is what is causing a lot of the problems around here. I mean, all they have to do is send it off to parceline and then it's done. Fair enough, if it gets lost from then on it's not their fault, but to set their system up in a way that can collapse if they don't receive a confirmation of activation date from BT is just plain daft.

Yup, BT migrated me over last night and killed pipex.

I'm starting to lose my patience with Sky...

      Really sorry Adrian

It would seem that BT are eager to complete ceases on time as always but not to go to the exchanges and actually move people when they tell SkyBB and there own customers on the BT checker that they will.

I think BT have done everything they should...Turned off pipex, turned on sky and regraded my line, on the date they said they would on the checker.

Just sky's modem i'm waiting on now.

      Yes I know Adrian

That was just a general observation on how it works when moving from IP Stream to LLU more than anything. IP Stream to IP Stream is or should be plain and simple

Got my router today, getting about 2mbps so I think I might have a stuck BRAS profile. Although, I don't know why, I wasn't synced for hours before or after the regrade...will see after the 10 day period and my tweaking,
