    Quick question...

    This is a discussion on Quick question... within the Sky Broadband help forums, part of the Sky Broadband help and support category; Yep it does and so the chances are as its still going to be IPStream it will happen then so ...

      Yep it does and so the chances are as its still going to be IPStream it will happen then so I hope the router does show-up in time.

      Maybe we should start a list of dial-up accounts for any members who find themselves with the same problem.

      I am in the same position as you Adrian, according to the BT tracker I am due to be activated over to the Connect package tomorrow (Monday 2nd) but haven't had the second letter or router. Phoning Sky got me nowhere as the operater was of no help.

      Phoned again today, got through to a nice, (seemingly) helpful lady.

      After putting me on hold again for a few minutes she told me that the router had been sent and should get here either today or tomorrow.

      But when I asked her for a consignment code, she said the systems were down, so I wont get my hopes up too much just yet.

      Oh well, at least there is still some hope.

      Yup, that's what I was thinking. Either that or she had to call someone to find out if it had been posted (hence being put back on hold) and couldn't be bothered to rephone?

      I've been waiting for Sky to avtivate my line since 13th Sept. Still no word on when it's going to be activated, been hassling them for ages and still nothings being done. How can i check on the BT Tracker to see what the status of my line is.

      You can go here Order tracking: Landline orders you will have to register if you don't have an account.

      I know they use a company in Rugby for the routers so it could well be they called them and got the info that way.

      Lets hope thats the case.
