      Angry Activation Passed :(

Up until today I was pretty happy with the way things were going, got the router really quick after 4 days of placing order but waited almost 2 weeks to be activated today and nothing! Called Sky to ask whats going on, they told me could be up to another 14 days! Great!!!

Question is I got a welcome letter a few days back on it there is the bit about if your right to cancel, does this come in to effect after your connection goes live or from the day they send you the letter? I am worried if the service/connection (bad packetloss) is bad, I want to be able to cancel especially that it is a 1 year contract.

      Thanks

I'm pretty sure your right to cancel will come into effect from the day you are activated.
Have you checked your order status on the BT tracker site?

      https://www2.bt.com/btPortal/applica....ordertracking

Hopefully it will give you a good idea when you're likely to be activated.

      Welcome to the site soulja

You can cancel the order at anytime you like but once activated it must be within 8 days of your activation.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.
