      new staff for skybroadband

      just a quick news snippet...

      Sky hired 1,500 new call centre staff and 600 home engineers in preparation for demand for its broadband offerings. It spent 37m on LLU over the year.

      I see they aint beating about the bush, maybe this is what the industry has been waiting for.

      They have certainly planned it well and also, are implementing it extremely well. Lets just hope its all worth it and everyone is happy once they receive the product.

      Personnally i can't wait, not for the savings etc, (althought they are welcome) they just seem to know their onions on the TV side and the way things are going at them moment, they are gonna wipe the floor with broadband.

      have to agree it will certainly shake up a few isp's,
      600 engineers how many isp's can boast that, i might go for the pro install after all it free with the MAX product

      Hmmmmm....Sky's definition of "engineer" probably differs considerably to most other peoples. Personally I'd prefer to do a self install any day.

      ahh but on a self install you cant question the engineer and try to get him on board can you
