      No need to get abrupt.

At the end of the day, you got through to a moron who didn't realise your line is capped at 384 kbps, and it's far from the worst speed anyone who has worked at sky's tech support for about a day will see. Changing the filter is the first part of 'the script', so it's not exactly a diagnosis as such, but rather process of elimination.

You're on sky LLU, and it does not have an ip profile like BT IPstream.

      Re: Changed ADSL

You have been moved from ADSL2+ to G.DMT to try to give you a stable connection. Let us see your Test socket stats.

      Re: Changed ADSL

Well that points to the issue being internal to your house, how many sockets have you got on the telephone line and how many filters in use?

      Re: Changed ADSL

We have 1 master socket and another socket that is ntl that doesnt work was here before us, it is the same as our master socket, but we dont use it, its got no chords or anything. To the master socket is just our phone chord plugged into the adsl and the internet lead, I have also removed this and still got the same stats.
