Re: How do my stats look?

yes, on the master/test socket. also the cable going from the ADSL modem to the filter was turned around to the correct way (swap)

Re: How do my stats look?

well you are getting as much as you can mate.
if there arnt any connection problems such as a drop out or any noise on the line then you have nothing to worry about and have a good line

Re: How do my stats look?

thanks. thought I can some how squeeze more in for the "up to 20MB" if it were possible to get up to 16MB.

Re: How do my stats look?

no all depends on how long the line is "Line Attenuation" the longer the line the more the attenuation goes up like me myself have a 44 Line Attenuation i should be able t get 8MB but the condition of the outside line is poor in my area so im only capable of 4.6MB
i am also on the "up to 20MB" you could always give them a ring up and ask if they can improve it anymore tuck me a while but i did it
also helps having a pre-filtered faceplate as these bypass any extension wiring

Your downstream noise margin is very low, showing you are syncing a bit higher than you should for a stable line. Booting your router when the margin is low should sync you at a lower, but more stable speed. You have no chance of getting 16Mb unless your external line was vastly improved.
