Just rang sky told them about the damage
They've reconfigured my line to the following:
ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 14419 kbps 767 kbps
Line Attenuation 33.5 db 16.6 db
Noise Margin 7.0 db 15.9 db
Now that was more like what i was expecting
With regards to the damage to the line i had to really push on that, as my phone and broadband seems fine the advisor was unsure about what to do and whether someone will come and fix it (it may cost). The advisor is raising a call and i'm expecting a call back with 48hrs.
