      Sky Sucks (Cancellation)

How do I cancel my 12Month contract without incurring termination charges, Tv, Phone + Internet ?, I did not sign up nor was I informed about this level of poor service In fact had I known I was being sold a heap of crock I would of laughed than spat in the face of the Sky man who happily sold me a so called "Broadband Service Provider".

Post your router stats (How to get your router statistics), if you are on the Unlimited LLU package it is one of the best out there so if you have a problem, chances are it is your end and can be sorted out without too much hassle.

Yes I took your advice, I don't see why I have to spend money on top of my Sky monthly bill & time when Sky is not capable of supplying me at least a 3rd of my connection speed. I'm barley touching 1 3rd which "Upto" doesn't cover frequent cut outs, slow load time's, My Sky remote broke with-in less then 3months.

Sky Tv - A 3rd of the channels are FreeSat free to view channels, The subscription channels I'm subscribed to are maxed out with commercials, repeats, decade old program's mostly consists of police Roadwars shows really hasn't changed sky plus box runs louder then any pc / laptop Ive came across even when its on standby! Its a joke it's almost funny. My point being I'm not happy or looking for a temporary fix Sky isn't capable of supplying what I pay for and I want out

I was signed into a 12 month contract at a fixed price (10) then later told my Internet bill would increase to 15 / Month after 6 month

If you had taken the advice you would be getting around 16 Mb, you can't expect Sky to pay for improvements to your internal wiring. Go to another ISP and it will be no different.

If the Sky remote broke from anything other than miss-use within the warranty period, Sky will replace it foc. This goes for your Sky+ box, if it is making excessive noise it will also be replaced.

If you have a Sky phone contract, your broadband will not increase after 6 months.

If you have had the TV for more than 30 days, there is no way you can get out of paying the full 12 months. The only time I have seen this allowed is when the user was emigrating.

Sky can supply it but your internal wiring is letting you down, if your TV broke, would you also blame Sky for not showing a picture on it. No, you would fix or replace it, the same applies, fix your wiring and then you will get a more stable and faster speed.

Sometimes, you just have to stop bitching and make an effort to sort out your own problems.

      Re: Sky Sucks (Cancellation)

basically you need to setup as follows:

master socket>filter>(phone side>3-way splitter to whatever; modem side>router) - other sockets>filter>whatever you need to plug in

get that done and then give Sky a call and you'll go, speed wise, 10Mbps plus
