    Slow internet

      Slow internet

      I pay for the 16mb package, yet my internet is really struggling at the moment. I've tried restarting the router etc. so logged onto the router to look at the stats, and noticed my upstream noise margin was abnormally high. I know you say the higher the better, but this really is ridiculous (stats below).

      firstly, it's UP TO 16Mbps (but now it's 20Mbps).

      secondly, you're line is capped down as you should be getting 6-8Mbps going by your attenuation. When did you go live?

      Your high upstream indicates a negative value which the router cannot express. This is sometimes caused by incorrectly placed or duff filters. Ensure you have filters plugged first into the phone socket on all sockets in use.
      Try changing the filter on the router, with a non-Sky one if you have one and unplug everything you have plugged into phone sockets. Post your stats again.
