      Question New to Sky Max ... couple of questions.

      Hi all,

      got activated on Sky Max yesterday am, been connected at 4mb initially and connection has been up for 28 hours solid without any re-syncing as yet.

      How long does it take for DLM to start working? and should the router have re-synced by now?

      Also, with these stats what speeds shoud i be expecting when everythings up and running normally? (i was connecting at 16meg with BE before my switch)

      Downstream = Upstream
      Connection Speed 4095 kbps 605 kbps
      Line Attenuation 24.0 db 11.2 db
      Noise Margin 13.4 db 16.9 db

      Thanks in advance

      Re: New to Sky Max ... couple of questions.

      It can take upto 72hrs for DLM to start and it can run for upto 10 days so keep the router plugged in and powered up.

      With your attenuation you should see 14-16mb although you may want to get the stats from the test socket just too see if you can get the noise margin up any.
