re-wired phone line are are these stats better?

rewired everything but the extension since i am abit strapped for cash right now also added a new junction box and a fitted filtered faceplate from run-it-direct
here was my last stats before i rewired

Connection Speed 4096 kbps 416 kbps
Line Attenuation 44.0 db 25.0 db
Noise Margin 7.4 db 16.0 db

here are them just now after finishing
Connection Speed 4096 kbps 416 kbps
Line Attenuation 44.0 db 25.0 db
Noise Margin 11.9 db 16.0 db
is the increase in the noise margin better or worse btw thats not from the test socket either just the normal filtered faceplate

Its better. That increase should get you over 1Mb on your speed..
