The SNR will go up and down a bit due to conditions, weather etc, with the SNR falling to 5.9 it isnt the best but it is tolerable. Does the connection drop off or anything or is it simply the speed reduction?

Yeah the LED's will flash just for a moment and then it will begin to boot itself back up. Your line might need capped off at maybe 14Mb that should then bring the SNR up a good bit. Sometimes less is more.

There is a problem somewhere when the upload is so low. This is often down to a dodgy filter, but it does not seem to be so in this case.

Kenny, you're on a long line and it's about as good as it'll get other than a bit more on the upstream
