New sky connection - Can anymore be squeezed out?

Hi All.

Moved home recently and sky went live on Friday. Im about 4 days into the 10 day line management peiod and here are my stats so far (attached below).

im approx 650 metres from the exchange.

does anyone reckon this could steadily get any higher?

also my upload seems alot... didnt realise sky did 1 meg upload.

You should probably see around 18 odd mb with the conditions at the moment. Sky's max upstream is 1.3mbps.

Edit: If your speed doesn't increase to the max attainable by the end of DLM's training period, then call up sky and they'll see how much more you can push out.

Has ur downstream been 16000 since ur line went live ?

No for the first day it was 4 meg but thats what sky intentially do.

after the first day its gone 16meg then next day my upload went from 400k to just over 1meg

Incase anyone is keeping their eye on this thread i got home today to find my stats had increased once again.

ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 18010 kbps 1146 kbps
Line Attenuation 17 db 7 db
Noise Margin 11 db 7 db

with a downstream noise margin of 11 can that not go even higher?

Yes, I would imagine you will touch the 20mb mark.
