      Pegasus Mail SMTP Settings

      Hi

New to Sky and this forum. Done lots of things to try to send mail (POP3) from my Pegasus Mail account - tried just about every variation possible with the settings and spent over 2 hours with Sky support over 3 sessions, but still no joy.

I could list out all the error messages for all the settings options but wondered if anyone else out there is a Pegasus Mail user who can give me the bottom line, please?

Have you tried the google (Gmail) smtp server:

      smtp.gmail.com

Port - 465 with secure connection (SSL) ticked.

I have trebbled checked my username and password by logging into my Sky Emaili account via their website (webmail), so I know they are correct. I have tried adding "@sky.com" to the username which does not change how the tests react either in Pegasus nor at Sky's own website.

Have you tried an unlock captcha at www.sky.com/unlock .

Don't have the @sky.com on the username for this.

Also close Pegasus whilst trying it.
