Exactly if I had a pound for ever user on ether base or mid that tell me it must be wrong because " I haven't used any more than i normally do for the past 2 years"

I had one chap that was only on base and for the past 3 months had been using pretty much 40gb spot on each month, then had the front to call and say the email telling him his ac would be auto-upgraded must be a error cause I have always used about that for 2 years lol.

On 1st Jan Sky sent me an email to say I had exceeded my allowance and that if I go over 2 more times in 5 months they will put my monthly bill up by 5 to the Unlimited Broadband. Now I do use the internet a lot and I do download but as I work in the retail sector over December I had been extremely busy at work and not downloaded as much as normal, so there's no way I could have gone over! Anyway after that email I set my account for Sky to email when I got to 70% used. I also downloaded and installed TBBMeter to record my usage.
Today I got another email from Sky to say that I had now got to 70% of my 10GB allowance! My TBBMeter says I have only used 30%. I have also checked my Downloads folders where I keep all my music and videos I've downloaded until sorting them... that only adds to about 3.5GB.
Any ideas about how I can suddenly be going over my limit when I am downloading no more than I usually have in the last 12 months and they have never emailed me before.
Your help would be appreciated as I have emailed Sky but I just get an automated response telling me to check the website, which tells me nothing.
I had an email on Friday telling me that I had gone over the limit - this was the last straw on top of the price doubling from 5 to 10. I phoned Sky immediately and was given my MAC over the phone. I've signed up to O2 LLU for 7.50 per month ( my work mobile is O2). I got 2 months free and signed up through Quidco which gives me 75 cash-back - so I've got 12 months unlimited BB for free - WOOHOO!!
