Should I Stay or Should I Go?

      Hi,

This is my first post on these forums... Great Forum!!

I recently signed up to Sky for Television, Telephone and Broadband - was the offer floating around at Christmas.

I must say the customer service was very good during the early stages - everything was switched over smoothly.

I am VERY happy with my Sky TV however my Broadband is a completely different issue. During they Day I am able to get speeds of up to 7768KBPS, problem is at night (from 5pm-12am) I am only getting speeds of roughly 256KBPS - This is a huge problem for me as I work at home updating websites and my work is now taking about 10 times longer than it did with Tiscali (previous provider)

I have contacted the technical team and they have taken me through all the trouble shooting tasks (speed tests etc.) and there is still no change.

I spoke to them again yesterday and they are now saying there is nothing they can do - and maybe I should switch providers as there may be a problem at my exchange - Their equipment isn't being used or something.

So my question is - is there anything else I can do? I don't really want to leave Sky Broadband mainly because of the hassle involved in doing so. If I do leave I will be taking my broadband, sky and telephone with me and will NOT be recommending Sky Broadband to anyone..

      Any Ideas?

If you are on CONNECT - Like I am / to soon be was leave if you can..

I have managed to get out of my contract due to the poor BB speeds at peak time when their traffic shaping app kills the speed tp near enough nothing..
