Well i've removed the bell wires ( if thats what its called ) about a year ago, and that made me get the same sync speed as the test socket. So im assuming the test socket would be synced at the same anyway ?

just rebooted, sync still at the same speed but upload slower ( 586 kbps )

mate your line is capped at 3mb at the moment, generally(not always) this happens for a reason.. you wont see any difference in your downstream speed through the test socket but it would be worth comparing the stats anyway and it will certainly speed things up when you call sky and ask for the cap to be removed

If you are on Mid then that may explain it, they possibly have capped you for going over the allowance.

But i checked their website, it says if you go over the usage they send you a letter about upgrading the package. And they dont actually cap your line for going over the allowed data
