      thanks for all the help, ordered a filtered faceplate, so now just to wait for that, then ring sky

      will keep you informed

      Until it arrives, you can try plugging the filter into the test socket, then plug the faceplate into the phone side of the filter, this will sort of do the same thing as a filtered faceplate and isolate the ADSL before the wiring gets a hold.

      hey guys

      recieved my faceplate this morning, installed, and then rang sky to remove my cap

      had a wonderful suprise when my speed jumped from 2047 to 6464 woo!
