      Internal wiring

      i have recently fitted a new faceplate and wiring and my connection has gone up a bit

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
      Connection Speed 14365 kbps 764 kbps
      Line Attenuation 29 db 14 db
      Noise Margin 7 db 17 db

      im writing here to see if my connection can be improved more and what should i do about it e.g. phone them up

      Thats not a bad set of stats, tho the upstream could prob be improved a bit. I would be tempted to leave well alone.

      I would get onto sky and get the upstream increased, if upload speed is important to you.

      yer i would like more upload. do you have the number for sky and should i just explain that i have made adjustments to my wiring ?

      Yes just say you have made improvements to your line and would like the upstream speed increased, you need to get through to CST.

      The number is 08442 410 515

      i phoned up and i couldnt do it because my mum doesnt have a password on the account, well thats what i think he said, he said it so fast but yer do you know how to make one thanks

      The account password is the password that you gave when you first signed up to sky tv, they should have asked you what you wanted it to be, they did with me.

      if there is no password on the account your mum will have to call and set up a password and then you can get through no problem in future if you remember the password

      Huh? If it was tier 1, the first dudes to answer the phone, then they physically can't unless they have access to. You'll need to ask them to be passed to the customer solutions team and they'll be able to do it for you.
