      Static IP address for wireless printer

      Hi I have bought a Epson wireless printer and can get it to work wirelessly on one computer and cannot get it to work on two laptops. Epson techncial support say I need a static IP address on the router but sky say this is not possible. Is there any way round this or should I move to a different ISP any advice would be very welcome but please be gentle I am not very technical best wishes Sue

      The router having a static IP won't matter as the printer is working inside the home network, not the internet.

      What they may mean is that you need to assign an IP to the printer.

      Internal IP address is what they mean.

      Router 192.168.01 being the router
      PC 1 192.168.0.1
      PC 2 192.168.0.2
      wireless Printer 192.168.0.3

      PC 1 can't be .0.1 as that's the router...
