      Outlook 2003 - Oh dear

Hello- joined anytime broadband last night.
Ive lost the will to live. Spent all day with customer services trying to sort out Outlook 2003 connection issues. Have repeated the same proceedures with pop and imap addresses soooooo many times in the last 7 hours. I /We have tried absolutely everything but with no success. Im told Ill be getting a call from an email specialist in the next 24 hrs, but Im not optomistic anything anymore. Ive literally wasted an entire day of my life. I need to get back to my old supplier - virgin and get my life back together. Its been a horrid experience. Im too tired to put bthings into capitals or shout or whatever

The 'e-mail specialist' should be an agent from webmail escalations - pretty much a specific e-mail resolution team.

Woah - it's only e-mail! When I'd get e-mail calls at sky, I'd tell a lot of the customers to get hotmail instead if they aren't too set on using the sky e-mail service, and in this case I suggest the same.

Edit: Also, this is in the wrong section and I'm not sure what the aim of the post is in particular. Are you wishing to complain about sky (this is an unofficial support forum and sky aren't going to read this themselves) or are you looking for help?

Can you log into the Sky email direct through the site? As if so that's technically where's Sky's product ends. Just because it's based on Google and you CAN use a client so long as you can log in online Sky can't do a lot else...

What error message do you get in Outlook? Have you tried to Google it and find a solution yourself? Have you made sure all the settings are correct, using the proper username and enabled the POP option online through the web portal?

And, to make things worse, it seems you're on Connect - not a good day!!
