Sky do not block sites on Max, if there is an issue with websites, it is nearly always that site's or a peering fault. You cannot fault Max / Unlimited normally.

As for the OPs original rant... as suggested above, post your stats and I'm sure the very helpful people here will do their best to solve the problem... go on, you say you're an IT teacher. Let us know our teaching staff have some redeeming qualities. You know it makes sense

The price is low so it can't be that good. BT will be offering 20meg in my area soon so I might go back to BT. I've tried 4 other ISPs and BT have been, by far, the best ISP I've been with thus far.

I had Max for 3 years and it was 99.9% perfect. Yes it was a tenner per month. Unbelievable value at that price. No shaping, no real problems with sites, and I would definitely recommend it over BT.

The only reason I swapped was because I didn't want Sky Talk and so Max would have been 15 a mth.

Read my lips: I have not told a lie about my stats or the quality of my connection. At present, uTorrent reports that I am d/loading at 1.8MB/s. This is the same at any time, day or night (depending on the quality of the download server etc.). I have the best connection speeds for my line 24/7, allowing for Sky's 7db down snr.

If you think I'm lying then I suggest you go back to BT and pay what you think is a realistic price for what you get rather than having a top rate line at a cut down price with Sky.

      Nuff said!
