      Question that disconnecting problem but.....

Hi, excuse my ignorance, I'm a bit of a newbie to this but I have that router keeps dropping connection problem.... this seems to come every 30 mins - for example using the sky router tool - I can see that today my SNR had a downstream spike (downwards) at 9:10 then 9:40 then 10:10 then 10:40 etc.

Given the regularity of this I am assuming it is a router fault not noise on the line etc.

I thought it was the Upnp thing but I have already disabled that and it is still happening

Any ideas ? is there something I need to do for the upnp thing other than just unchecking the selection item in the router menu ?

any help much appreciated thank you.

Os there anything in the house that turns on every 30 mins or so, a boiler etc.

      Post your router stats.

thanks - good pointer looks like I may have found the culprit- got one of those old separate BT caller display boxes that was attached direct to the phone line, not via a filter, having removed that all seems ok at present - will continue to monitor.

      Thanks for the help

Yep anything on the line will impact it if not filtered.
