      Sky Unlimited Speed

Well since 27th of December, I am getting 5MB download speed and 860kb upload speed. However, when i try test socket, i get over 13MB so i think my house can get over 13MB.
If it has something wrong with my broadband lines, is it sky's fault? because i didnt touch anything at all.

      Re: Sky Unlimited Speed

If you get it on the test socket then the issue is yours and nothing to do with sky. Something on your telephone line inside you house is causing the issue. Could be a failed filter, something new may be plugged in without a filter or your internal wiring may have issues.
if you go back to the main socket with nothing but a filter and the router and remove all other things from the line what stats do you get?

Yep your internal wiring is shot. Do you have more than one telephone socket on the line? If so that is the issue if you removed everything completely from the line.

Internal extension is probably shot or wiring needs looking at. Running from the master socket is always best where possible but there are some things that can be done to the wiring to make sure it is as good as it can be.

      Re: Sky Unlimited Speed

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 12908 kbps 860 kbps
Line Attenuation 35.5 db 21.1 db
Noise Margin 7.7 db 12.0 db

This is my stat and will i be able to get more speed out of this?

      Re: Sky Unlimited Speed

First things first, do you have wired telephone extensions and if so how many? Also what is plugged into those telephone sockets?

      Uh i dont think so...

      Master Socket-(one long line)--Microfilter---Ethernet cable---Router
      Master Socket---Telephone

      Re: Sky Unlimited Speed

You have a cable on the socket before the filter? Is the filter not directly on the socket? You can only have 1 master socket, any other socket is a slave/ extension socket on the line.If you have a telephone directly onto a socket you have not filtered it correctly,
