    No Router & Sky Activated?

      Excellent - so it looks like a few are on the way then.

      I do think Sky's only problem with this is the fact they don't have enough routers. That must be the only reason why they're not saying when they're heading out to people - but embarassing.

      Anywway - I shall happily wait, and hope to see my router in the next few days. I may have to go cold turkey if I have no router, but at least I won't have to pay for my TV or Broadband for a couple of months!

      If all the people at Sky i spoke to over the last few days send me a router i should have a few spare ones in a few days

      With the Sky Digibox for TV the box is the property of the cutomer from day 1. With Be* (ISP) the router remains the property of Be* and must be returned at end of contract. Who owns the Sky BB router?

      Okay - the router turned up this morning (not a moment too sooN!) as did the letters informing me that 3rd October is my activation date. Erm. Odd - so I have evrything...

      ...but I'm still connected to my AOL internet connection at the moment.

      I guess I'm expected that to loose ADSL sync at some point by midnight (as the letter says) so i assume I just swap over at that time...

      Ohhh.... (and wow, that was cutting it fine...)

      Hi reech

      Yep when BT stated to do mine the ADSL and the phone went down at around 5pm and it should only take up to 2 hours for the work to be completed by BT but BT took 5 days to do mine

      So good luck mate.
