Keep losing connection randomly everyday..Help me!!

Hi, I use SKy max, after stabling for month then everyday connection drop out few times. Its very annoying..sometimes losing every 5-10 mins...Talked to sky and they replaced me a router but still losing connection randomly.. And When someone phone me, 80% situation is losing connection and big noise on phone, 20% seems normal which is no losing connection no noise on phone. I have changed 10+ microfilers..so i dont think should be a microfilters fault. My flat doest have test socket in my master socket. Can anyone help me ?

When you say sky sent you a new router, did you change over all the equipment including the adsl cable? How about the connection with just a filter and the router connected - does it still drop?

In that case, if you've been sent a new router then I'm assuming you have been through to cst already. If sky see fit, then an engineer would be the next step, so give them a call back and see where you get.

A noisy line indicates there is a fault with the actual line and not with the Sky router / cables / microfilters.

Call BT and ask them to send a engineer. If they ask what problems your having, say that you have noisy line.

My flat doest have test socket in my master socket.
If you have extensions wired into the master socket, check if there is a wire on the Number 3 terminal on the back of the faceplate. If there is take it off, it can cause interference and is not required.
