Thumbs down Have I been capped?

      Hi there,

I've got the Max package, and my maximum download speed has always been 1.5Mb/s.

It's been a few days since my max download speed won't go past 250kb/s.

Going through the router stats it shows:
Connection Speed 14981 kbps 998 kbps
which is just a tiny bit bellow what it usually is, and as far as I know doesn't justify only 250kb/s download speed.

Now... I have to confess that I have been downloading stuff pretty heavily lately, my utorrent stats shows 91GB downloaded in the last 31 days .

Could sky be cutting down on my speed on purpose?

I very much doubt it. As you are a heavy torrent user the first thing I would suspect is malware on your PC. Download and run Malwarebytes.org the free version will be good enough to scan your PC.

You could also try starting in Safe Mode with networking and do a speed test at Sky User - Broadband Speed Tester Post your results.
