Well, new to Sky on 8th Dec - on the unlimited package, and very new to this user group(!).
After a 2/3 days I noticed the DML had not started, so emailed them , and got this reply after a couple of days :-
Thank you for contacting Sky Help Centre.
I can confirm that the DLM has been requested for your line but it has not actually started yet. It can take anything upto 20 days from the activation date to start but normally it does start in the first 10 days.
I am unable to give you an exact date as to when this will start.
I do apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I'm looking to get a bit faster than the 2mb at present (6 possible), but
this is not quite the info I was expecting after reading the posts on this forum.

If you are only getting 2 Mb at present, that is not a good sign. The starting speed for Unlimited is 4Mb, if you are not getting that it suggests your line is not capable of more.
Post your stats, from your normal position and from the Test socket as a comparison. You can find out how to do this by using the links in the Quick Links box on the left.
