the 4th call was from someone different and he said they will get a bto engineer out to today and they will start at the exchange and work towards my house to fix (hopefully) the problem.
Sorry, I thought from this that Sky got BTO out.
should have worded it better, from a different person from within sky( sky talk).
from what theBTO engineer was sayin, sky said their line was fine, where as BTO were saying the problem was with the sky network as when BT equipment was plugged in it was fine but when my equipment was plugged in, there was data on line. its all sorted now so once again thanks for everybodies help.
