      Unhappy BT Report An Error

I'm on Sky Broadband and have been for a couple of days, my router reports that my download speed is about 4mb but I wanted to see what the BT site would report, i.e should I be getting something faster!!

When I enter by home number into the BT site ( http://www.bt.com/broadband ) it reports the following:

"It appears there may be an incompatible product on your line (e.g. DACS or
Fibre) - you'll need to ask BT to remove this before ADSL can be installed"

Any ideas why I would get this? I'm on Sky broadband all I want to know is what Max speed I should be seeing.

      Thanks..

      Moved to the correct forum

That just means your not on the BT network ie: your on LLU

I get the same when I check.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.
