      New network?

      Got a letter from sky this morning about our broadband and phone going over too a new network on the 15th of this month.Did remember a few months ago about this on various forums and the such but what is it all about?.

      They are just changing over to their fully unbundled Sky Voice & Broadband Network (SVBN). This essentially mean that your voice service will now be on Sky's own network rather than BT as it was in the past, so you'll therefore no longer have a BT line. Be aware that there are implications if you wish to move either broadband or voice services in the future as it'll no longer be as simple as it used to be due to the fact that you'll have to get a BT line reconnected first.

      This Lost speed with move to SVBN and some other threads will give you an idea what may happen to you.

      which doesn't happen to many...TalkTalk (if you went to them) do the same thing as they take the line completely from BT...
