That's a bit healthier, but it looks like your external line is not too good. Not anything you can do about it, unless your voice line is noisy.

      Re: Bumping up speed

Im not sure of the voice noise as I dont have any phones connected. Basically I just pay Sky the minimum for the phone line.

The phone line was put in 4 years ago, i dont know if that makes any difference though.

Is this this best im going to get?

So your voice line could be almost unusable and you would not know. Can you borrow a phone, preferably a corded one to check. If there is noise on the voice line, it can effect the broadband. If there is no noise then I am afraid that is all you are going to get.

You can get a phone in Tesco for under 4.

      Re: Bumping up speed

Thanks alot for your advice. I will hook a phone up, does it go into the test socket or normal phone socket?

      Re: Bumping up speed

When checking for noise on the line, plug into the Test socket, so that internal wiring does not interfere. Just plug it in, dial 1 digit and listen, you should hear nothing except maybe a very quiet hiss.
