Profiled to a 3dB SNR overnight. Speed hasn't went up - guess INP has been up'd before it tries to lift the 3072 cap a little. Shall see how it ends up, but I'm happy as it stands and quite impressed that it's staying solid (we shall see tonight).

Things are looking good for your long ADSL line there. I guess that you'll be looking forward to SFU soon.

Not too bad. The jump to SFU or SFUP should be worthwhile though.

If your stats are correct, you are syncing at just over 5 mbps and with line overheads, your actual download speed is about right. However you have a fairly high noise margin which should allow Sky to raise your speed a bit. 6-7 mbps sync should be possible.

Re: Lost speed with move to SVBN

Hello Buffalobill and welcome to the forum.

If you could start a fresh thread in this section perhaps we can help with your connection speed.

There might be a range of possible reasons for the change in your speed and this thread has become a little lng to go through them all with you.

In the new thread could you include information describing how your connection is set up please. Include information such as which socket is being used by the router, whether its the master socket or not. Also any extensions and filters being used.

It would be useful too to know what you may have done already to see what has been tried already to improve things and which specific Sky package you have.

Of course the most important thing would be for you to include your current connection stats as well.

      Thank you.

      P.S. Please check your profile.
