Unless you work in an Indian Sky Call Centre, I can't see how it can be of the least interest to you.

Re: Lost speed with move to SVBN

My experience from moving from non-SVBN - SVBN:

Non-SVBN stats last night. Usually fluctuated between 2.7-3mbps (g.dmt with d-link router on PPPoA):

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 2752 kbps 832 kbps
      Line Attenuation 62.0db 31.5db
      Noise Margin 6.8db 8.0db

SVBN as of today (adsl2plus on a pre-starting profile with d-link router on MER):

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 2912 kbps 412 kbps
      Line Attenuation 64.5db 40.5db
      Noise Margin 7.5db 15.8db

Was expecting worse. Just to order fibre now...

You mean that you won't be calling someone to get you line reconfigured first?

Re: Lost speed with move to SVBN

DLM going pretty well (6dB target SNR on the downstream). My line actually performs better on the ISAM on adsl2plus - was a few kbps slower on g.dmt.

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 3070 kbps 798 kbps
      Line Attenuation 64.5db 40.4db
      Noise Margin 6.1db 7.8db

Fibre to be installed in two weeks.
