Spoke to sky and they are doing maintenance on the line so it will fluctuate for awhile , try again tomorrow morning then call back.

      - Left the router off over night and turned it on about 5mins ago

Will keep an eye on it today , upstream levels have returned to normal with the correct noise margin

Are all the ports for the 360 forwarded? so you would forward,
      TCP 80
      UDP 88
      UDP 3074
      TCP 3074
      UDP 53
      TCP 53

Re: Lost speed with move to SVBN

Still no luck still in yellow bar, my speed has been capped at that sync rate acumen I been with sky never losing or gaining speed, as I have read on here that most people has lost speed when switched over, do you reckon that I should of lost speed but because I'm capped it didnt lose any speed and now my line has a lot of errors? Just a theory Thanks again

Re: Lost speed with move to SVBN

First try to get a better downstream noise margin. To do this switch the power to your router off for a minute then back on again. Do this until you have a noise margin of at least 7 dbs. This will reduce your sync speed but will make your connection more stable. Your low noise margin could be causing excessive error slowing your connection and giving you a yellow bar.

Second, disconnect anything else you have connected to the router, whether it is switched on or not. Turn off the wireless access point. If this makes a difference, check each PC one at a time and see if any specific one is causing the problem. There os a good chace it is either infected or connected to P2|P or torrents. Remember that Sky player when installed on a PC uses P2P.
