      LOL, luck guess.

      No need for appologies, you have to try these things and rule them out as you go, in your situation the most likely is an internal wiring issue but I have seen many other strange things from xmas lights to microwaves.

      At least you are getting there now.

      hi guys,
      just a quick update i havent been able to contact sky yet as my wife advised me not to .
      we are using a borrowed router till me new one turns upas the last one went up in smoke.
      as soon as the new router turns up i will contact them.
      as you can see from the latest state my noise margin has gone up again.

      Hi Guys,
      Another quike update, i am still awaiting my new router?? they seem to have put my speed up on there own?
      but my niose margin has dropped this morning?

      will let u guys know as soon as new router shows its face and i can then get on to sky.

      As the speed goes up, the noise margin will come down. When your noise margin is sown at around 7db then you know you are at the maximum speed your setup will allow so you currently have more speed in hand.

      just come off the phone with sky they were very helpfull and upped the downstream for me.
      i am on dhl? so it may change slightly but here are my state now.

      They have not upped your upstream speed, this seems to get over looked rather alot, they do the downstream and leave the upstream.
