I've been connected to Sky for about ten days now. I had to go through the usual fun and games with the box 'settling down' and the NM going up and down like a yo-yo. But it seemed to have settled down. Until about 1830 last night when the connection just dropped.
Nothing on the line has changed. No extra equipment has been added. The router connects to the master socket via a 'dangly filter.' The router is connecting to the extent that it provides stats.
ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 11411 kbps 764 kbps
Line Attenuation 36.0 db 21.3 db
Noise Margin 7.0 db 12.5 db
In connection status the best I get is 'LCP is allowed to come up'
I've rebooted, reflashed the firmware and reset everything back to the original settings as far as possible. Nothing.
One thing I will add: I temporarily replaced the Netgear router with my 3com router for a few hours to try and obtain a better wireless signal. when it came to putting the Netgear back in - the problems started.
Is there anything I should try before going into battle with CS?

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.
