      Orders with the Engineer (Again)

Does anyone know of anyway I can progress my bband activation with sky, as everything i have tried is failing badly.

I should have been activated on 12th September according to the BT Order Tracker.
BT did disconnect me from Zen on 15th September. I keep phoning sky, and have been told the following:

18th Septemeber it will be through in 1 hour
20th September it will be activated with 2 days
22nd September its imminent (according to BT)
25th and 27th September its with an engineer.

If anyone from sky can help out (I understand you monitor these sites) it would really be appreciated as I am nearly up to 2 weeks without broadband and I was told the migration would be a max of 2 hours down time!

Also does anyone know what with a BT Engineer really means!

I am thinking of cancelling and moving back to Zen but I suspect I will join the end of a queue again.

      Welcome to the site Jimbo44

Sorry to read about your problems and if what SkyBB is saying about it being with the BT Engineer then its been sent back to BT Wholesale and I would guess there is a problem in your exhange and they have to fix it.

Sorry to say your not the first person to have this problem.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

      Interesting.

Sky keep spinning me the line that this is a usual situation and it will be through by Friday at the latest (which is the perpetual 2 days again). I guess its another phone call this afternoon, to question this.

Has anyone else had this sort of delay?

Is provisioning the same as the order checker option, as I have had conflicting reports.

Ok so now I am confused!

Spoke to the provisioning team and they said that its been escalated with BT and will be done today.

So as I have heard this before I phoned BTW and they said there is no order on my line for broadband, all there is, is a marker against my line for LLU but not broadband order.

Does this make sense to anyone, as I have a feeling Sky haved messed this up and I am back at square one!
