      Sky Broadband Outage

      I seem to have an outage on the Boldon (NE) exchange.

      Anybody else experiencing outage - seems to have been for the last few hours?

      I know this sounds odd, but is it possible that cancelling part of my tv package could stop my broadband. I did this last night, and have not been able to access the internet since!

      It should not do if you only cancelled a package, but it would if you cancelled your TV subscription. Maybe you should phone and find out what is going on. To be honest, exchanges outages do not happen very often and when they do, they are usually well reported here.

      Hello,

      Yes I'm on the Boldon exchange and my broadband has been down since 8.30 this morning, when I rang Sky they said there was a major problem at the exchange and Openreach were pulling out the stops to fix it, aparently some people have also lost there phone line, this is the second time this has happened in the last couple of months.
