      Netgear router

      Hi All,
      Am waiting for my activation date so haven't started using the router yet, but , my question is, once I have plugged my PC into the router can I use the other port to commrct another PC via another cable?

      Yes you can connect upto 4 directly into the router and more if you use a hub etc. You can also connect via wireless and have a mix of the two.

      Thanks for the quick reply.
      The instructions that came with it specifically say to use the port in yellow, nearest the centre of the router, so, it doesn't really matter which port you use ?

      It makes no difference at all, that may have been for something in the future that hasn't transpired.

      Typical Sky, how difficult would it be to print off an addendum sheet giving the correct information. I wonder how many there are out there who think they can only use 2 ports and are afraid to use the others in case they 'break' them.
