      What speed can i expect?

      currently going through dlm after joining sky max.

      Started at 4mbs then after 24hrs it jumped to 7mbs

      with the stats below whats the highest i can expect from my line?


      Connection Speed 7004 kbps 796 kbps
      Line Attenuation 38 db 19 db
      Noise Margin 10 db 15 db

      Hi let DLM do its work over the ten days your speed will fluctuate and if you have no problems. With your Attenuation of 38dbs you should get around 10mbs. You can have a read about Attenuation and Noise and Speed just click on link Sky router stats (speed, noise, attenuation) explained on the same post tells you how to get your router stats. I am sure you will get more advice

      mine also started off at 7005kbps download and 796kbps upload but then its dropped to 6140kbps and 796kbps DLM is ****!!! my line should be gettin 8 - 9mbps with the stats ive got!!! i want DLM off n sky to manually configure my line, im gonna fone em up in about 15 minutes!!

      also 10 days is DLM supposed 2 running? its bin running on my line scince day 1, ive had my connection a few months, and DLM has always been running, but now my speed is even worse, im not happy

      It is also worth trying the test socket, to see if the speed or line stats change.
