I don't know, how can you check? and whats the difference?

I'm on the phone now, they cant help.

      1. they cant disable DLM, as its not on.
      2. they cant reduce the max delays.

      I don't but do you???

How much do you pay per month for your broadband.

If in doubt, you can log into your My Sky page and it will tell you what you have. Either that or post your exchange details here and we can see what is available from Sky for you.

Yes, VERY BAD as it is actually a BT re-badged product that Sky then sells, the only way to improve your ping and everything else would be to switch ISP's to one that manages their network better.

      Re: High Ping

Sky Connect is usually 17 per month, there are better suppliers out this under the 20 mark.

      What exchange are you on?

      my exchange is really bad.
I only get, BT, Orange or Talk Talk using there own equipment.
      1. Talk talk are just crap.
      2. Orange is 24 (could be 15 if I have an orange mobile phone contract, but I don't..... very lame else that would be a good deal)
      3. BT is about 24.

not sure if its even worth swapping, to get stuck in another 18 month contract.
At least my sky contract is up so i can quit whenver i want

SamKnows Broadband - Availability - Tutbury (EMTUTBU) Exchange

probably just have to leave it until i move house or they upgrade the exchange.
I dout they have any plans to do so.

      Re: High Ping

ADSL24, Zen, Pllusnet are all good options if you have to stick with the BT equipment, much better than Sky's effort.

Most will do a short term or month to month contract.

Talk Talk LLU is actually very good and would be the one I chose in your position.

Hi as Smithy99 say`s Talktalk LLU is good but is has to be LLU
Talk Talk LLU is actually very good and would be the one I chose in your position.
The only thing is you might have to change your telephone provider to Talktalk I am not sure There has been a few moved to ADSL24 and Plusnet have a look at some of the Connect Threads and posts this one has some good information Gazz380 who started the thread moved to ADSL24 (Unofficial) FAQ - Sky Connect Users also have a look at figgyp on post 103 a letter Sky sent out about leaving in contract which there has been a lot hope some of this helps.
