Thanks for that. It seems the master socket filtered face plate is out of stock until the 10th of October so I'll get one ordered and one of the pre-filtered face plates for the other socket. Are these things difficult to install and will I need any special tools? I've never tackled any phone wiring before.

      Cheers

      Mark

As far as I can remember you don't unless you are wiring an extension onto the master socket faceplate and the pre-filtered faceplate's are small screws.

I am sure they are still like that but maybe a PM to adslnation who is a member on here will be able to give your more info look in the members section for him.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

      MacMarc,

Easy to install, just note where your phone extension's are then rewire using the 29p tool. I wouldnt expect miracles but it certainly has improved the connection for me and many others on here. After 4 days of 600kbps, I am now at 5500kbps, and noise margin gone from 4db to 7db since fitting. If you have any drama installing please feel free to pm me, it really is easy.
