      Hi it means that the further away from your exchange you are the less speed you will get. A slow connection could be caused by many things.
      And i guess that means that i have a slow connection...

      The only thing you can do is to get the cleanest connection your end, that will involve fitting a filtered faceplate to the master socket and running the router from there.

      Once you have done that, there is little else that you can do shrot of moving closer to the exchange.

      There is a good chance you are on ADSL2, which has difficulty with long lines. If you do have the DG823GT as your profile says, go here Mel's Notes: Dg834gt-1skuk click the Detailed Stats button and post the result here. Never mind the ping part.
