    Confused, My Connection speed has went faster

      Confused, My Connection speed has went faster

      Ok guys i was on a 6MB connection and i just done a speed test and here's what i got



      As you can see it's alot faster. So have sky done something or is something wrong. Knowing my luck there's proberly something wrong.

      Here are some stats:

      Erm the speed test is wrong, run the one from this site, your connection is at 7058kbps

      that's strange then. It's not like speedtest.net to be wrong. Thats a pretty good speedtest site

      Nothing strange about it. Speed test site is rubbish. As said before use the one on here. Surly the result you got should tell you speed test is rubbish. Think about it.

      Skys Max Download speed is Up to 20Mb .

      Speed test sites are only as good as the servers they are hosted on and the route onto them. Also if they are "popular" they tend to flood and give weird results. Plus clearing our temp internet files sometimes get rid of results like that.

      Speedtest.net is one of the worst I have seen.

      It's not like speedtest.net to be wrong.
      The opposite is truer. It gives some really awful results as yours proves. It as a fancy interface, but that is about all.
